Allie,

Thank you for your prompt replies and quotes for the charter. I'm afraid we've decided not to hire a yacht for this weekend. However your company was clearly the best priced and most professional in their manner, I won't hesitate to use your services in the future.
Regards,

Cougar IRC Champs - letter to race crew

Hi Everyone,

Just to say that, on reflection, our result in the IRC Championships was outstanding. For a team formed so recently from backgrounds of varied experience, to handle the boat so well in such blustery conditions is a credit to you all. The fact that I could tack or gybe wherever and whenever it was called, without too much drama was certainly envied by some other, supposedly more experienced, crews.

I'm looking forward to the next weekend of training when hopefuly we will be able to expand our range of manoeuvres.

Thanks to you all, see you on the 24th

Offshore racing

Our 2 offshore racing teams are gearing up for the 3rd offshore RORC race of the season so far, and their second qualifying race for the Round Britain & Ireland non-stop race this August. Both Puma Logic and Jaguar Logic's teams have been training hard over the past few weeks so fingers crossed for great weather and good winds. Teams have been deciding already what food to take with them on the 2 week Round Britian Race and whether or not water makers should be fitted. If you have an opinion on this, just let us know.

Fortis IRC Championships

A fantastic day was had by all on the 2 Reflex 38's we had competing in the Fortis IRC Championships. We where met with Superb Conditions.
Competing in the biggest class (IRC 1) Puma and Cougar and their crews experienced 15-20 knots of breeze on the first day, and it just got better and better, perhaps some of the best sailing conditions we have had all year.
Well done to the 2 Sailing Logic Teams.
